What is My Current Position in ExakTime Mobile?
While ExakTime Mobile is running on a mobile device, it will accept any location data that the device is providing. To make it easier to see where your mobile device believes you are, you can press the following icon on the Time Clock screen that will show you the location data that ExakTime Mobile is receiving.
The following screens* will be shown to you depending on if you are using iOS or Android. You will be able to see when the location data was last updated, the overall accuracy, and the position that is being provided by the phone.
- If you are using an Android device, you will be able to see additional location data from passive (cellular), GPS (global position satellites), and network (Wi-Fi) sources.
- If you are using iOS, it uses all three of the above sources but does not differentiate them.
